Open sourcelibrary automation
The vision behind FOLIO is to create a flexible and modular library system for humans, turbo-charged by machines. A system that is open source and is built through an open process in a collaboration between library staff, software designers and developers, and vendors. We lead the UX efforts on the project.
We wanted to empower the users of the software by putting them right in the driver’s seat of the development project, and to do so, Samhæng worked with us to create a user-centric approach to requirements modeling, in which UX experts worked with groups of subject matter experts to create interactive prototypes prior to the development of any business logic.
